Main Purpose of Job:

Account Manager for Government & Academia covers the customers in the academic market such as national/private university, and the customers in the government market such as national research institute and research funding bodies. The primary role of the Account Manager is to identify customers’’ needs, achieve maximum sales revenue, growth and account penetration within as assigned accounts or territory by effectively selling Clarivate Analytics’s products or related services to customers.


Key Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Manage and expand key existing accounts with domestic and global resources

2. Develop new customers with internal resources and channel partners

3. Manage and be accountable for annual sales target and business plans

4. Create and offer the best solutions to the customers

5. Raise visibility of the Scientific Business of Clarivate Analytics in Japan


Potentially successful backgrounds:

1. A sales person of ERP system, information solutions, or database

2. A URA






Must have:

1. 5 to 10 years of related business experience, with sales and business development.
