・Job Description We are currently seeking an enthusiastic motivated Native English Teacher. Our classes are comprised mainly of kindergarten children and the remaining lessons are primarily made up of elementary students. English teachers at Yamate must sincerely enjoy working with and educating children. We are asking for a fun and loving teacher from whom any child can enjoy learning. Yamate Kindergarten is a sister school of the Tokyo based Pacific Language School (PLS), which is expanding throughout Japan. We send our teachers to training in Osaka or Tokyo to learn the PLS system in addition to supporting and training them at Yamate. ・Work details: Full time, 5 days a week (Monday – Friday)Mornings: teach large classes of kindergarteners (0-6 years) Afternoons: teach small classes for kindergarteners and elementary students following the PLS curriculum(3-12 years)Create lesson plans and record following the PLS system Participate in school events and seminars which are held on mainly Saturdays, Sundays or national holidays・Description: Yamate Kindergarten is a private, Japanese school dedicated to providing high-quality education to young children. Within the kindergarten is a small English department called Yamate English School consisting of 3 English teachers and Japanese staff. English teachers also conduct lessons at nearby Moriyama Gakuen (about a 10 minute walk from Yamate) and Kamo Yoji-kyoshitsu (about a 2 minute walk from Yamate). The schools are located in Minokamo City in Gifu Prefecture, a small town with a lot of beautiful green scenery.
