We are looking for event staff to perform as Santa Claus in toys store in Naha-Shintoshin, Okinawa on December 16. Duties:Perform as Santa Claus 5 times a day inside of Shopping Mall(30 min-40 min each time)Each performance includes:- Photo shooting with kids and parents;- Wave your hand and say “Ho-Ho-Ho” and “Merry Christmas”;*No talking with kids in Japanese allowed (to keep the image of Santa Clause)- Wear Santa Claus costume (will be provided);You will be asked to bring the following items:-Black shoes (required);-Black belt (not mandatory);-Your lunch (NO meal provided);-Additional T-shirts and a towel (because it is hot when you wear a costume inside of the mall);Schedule:December 16Working time:10:00 - 18:00 Actual performances schedule (5 times a day):11:00~11:3013:00~13:3015:00~15:3016:00~16:3017:00~17:30You will be required to be at the station at 9:30 to meet your attendant staff.Arrival to the store: by 10:00.Requirements:The Santa Claus costumes will be provided by the event company, but the sizes are limited to L and XL. Therefore there are specific requirements for your appearance:- Height: 175 – 190, weight: over 80 kg (required)- English – Business level;- Daily conversational Japanese;- You should love children;- Friendly and energetic personality;- Valid visa in Japan (not tourist);Daily salary:15,000 + transportation allowance – Full amount (The salary will be transferred to your Bank Account on January 25th)Additional information:In case if we don’t have anyone in other areas and prefectures, we will be looking for staff who is willing to travel a long distance or even spend the night in a hotel in case if necessary. All expenses including transportation, hotel (+breakfast) will be provided.*People who are willing to travel long distance will be preferred.Location: OKINAWA, NAHAAbout the costume:Please note, this is a particular role of Santa Claus, therefore costumes available for male Santa Claus only. --HOW TO APPLY?--After you apply, we will send you a link to register and attach 2 pictures/your resume.Please prepare:-Your nearest station or city on Okinawa;-Full information about your availability on weekends in December;-Height;-Two Pictures (full body and Bust-up photos);-Your availability to travel long distances or stay at the hotel (YES / NO);We won’t accept your application without pictures and required information above.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------After you got hired:You will be asked to provide your visa information before you get the job;We will also ask you to send your bank account information to make a transfer of your salary;Schedule changes and cancellations:Make sure you checked before you tell us your schedule for all December weekends when applying (available / not available). PLEASE keep your promise for the days you marked as Available. Because once you got a personal schedule it will NOT be possible to change it unless it is an emergency. We dispatch only one Santa Claus for each store. *In case if you don’t show up we will never be able to work with you again and kids will be very sad if Santa doesn’t come.Cancellation may be accepted only in case of emergency situation, if possible in advance. Please do not cancel in the evening before the event!Advantage: There is a chance to get even more events or be an Alternative staff in case of cancellations.
