International school administration


Global Educational Partners is looking for motivated and energetic administration staff members.The primary responsibility of this position is to perform basic clerical assignments and support the overall operations of international schools in the Kanto area. Positions at multiple locations in Tokyo and Kanagawa prefecture are currently available.[Main Duties]● Fielding telephone calls and receiving visitors.● Dealing with student enrollment procedures, inquiries and complaints.● Compiling and filing documentation.● Assisting with meeting scheduling, minutes and supporting documents.● Supporting the teaching staff during daily school activities and events.● Purchasing materials and supplies for the school.● Maintaining a safe and clean learning environment by constant check of the condition of both the school facilities, materials and tools.● Event planning and management (including hall rentals, transportation and staff schedule coordination).● Minor payment administration (such as field trip and event attendance fees and sale of school uniforms).● Planning of extra-curricular activities such as after school programs, summer school programs and club activities (including payment collection).● Keeping staff and customers informed of new events and changes.● Providing translation and interpretation (English/Japanese).[Requirements]● Bachelor degree or equivalent.● Excellent English and Japanese communication skills.● Excellent interpersonal skills.● Ability to relate with students and staff members of different cultures and nationalities.● Ability to work independently, multitask and prioritize assignments effectively.● Proficiency with text editing softwares.● Experience in working with children (preferable).● IT, web and graphic design (preferable).[Working Conditions]●Working Hours: 8 hours a day (40 hours a week) + 1 hour break.●Working Days: Monday to Friday.●Holidays: Japanese National Holidays + school holidays + 10 days of personal leave●Allowances: transportation fees reimbursement (up to 15,000/month), Social Insurance (Shakai Hoken) for full time employees and professional development opportunities.
