Experience Supplier Quality Engineer in Aerospeace Industly in Kobe


ResponsibilitiesThe position will serve as Supplier Quality Engineer based at a Supplier of commercial aircraft assembly / fabrication programs in Kobe Japan and likewise support other suppliers within the Asia Pacific region as required.Capable of performing Material Review Board activity as a Quality representative, support the expedient processing of MRB tags in the systems.Lead Supplier Corrective Action Board. Proactively identify and implement Supplier Quality Improvement with focus on reduction and eradication of MRB tags.Ability to analyse material flow/internal logistics and identify new process' and manufacturing opportunities for continuous improvement.Support AS9102 First Article Inspection creation and review for the Supplier.Will be required to perform quality audits at the Supplier. Issue corrective actions and support the supplier in resolution of corrective Actions as required from escapes, non-conformances, and audits. Support customer audits of the supplier as required.Utilise inspection tools and media to validate supplier compliance with Engineering requirements, including support for source inspection and driving the supplier toward delegated inspection status.Qualifications-Japanese and English speaker who is culturally sensitive to communicating and operating in a Japanese work environment. (Prefer)-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a concentration in manufacturing engineering.-6+ years of experience in aerospace quality for assembly, fabrication or manufacturing engineering.( at least 3 years of experience)-Experience facilitating, coaching and implementing Continuous Improvement events.Lead auditor certification.-Lean and Six Sigma Certifications or equivalents-Must be able to work and travel independently or collaborate with diverse teams and achieve results.-Energetic, good organizational skills, and results oriented.-Good interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills, should be capable of teaching and presenting.S-hould be able to interpret 3D model based definitions and familiar with GD&T-Should be proficient in SAP
