We are currently looking for experienced candidates with strong written bilingual communication skills and technical expertise to join our teams that are currently assisting Google on-site with their business and partnership development Operations here in Tokyo.You will be working as part of an organization dedicated to helping developers build successful businesses using the Android platform. Our team works across different groups within Google to support developers on both business and technical opportunities, and more importantly, help them build great apps and become successful on Google Play.In this role you will apply your knowledge and experience in mobile app design and platform best practices to help partners optimize their offerings for Android. You will work with developers directly through written communication to provide consultation for improving their apps. To excel in this role, you must have a keen eye on app usability and design, as well as expertise in cross-device optimization and development best practices. Depending on your experience you may also be tasked to work in Portfolio Operations and Ecosystem Account Management. Portfolio Ops is focused on handling technical and business issues stemming from the very top partners in the world. Ecosystem Account Management is providing scalable business development management and support for a set of highly important partners to the ecosystem.Minimum requirements:ã»BS/BA or equivalent in business, engineering, or operationsã»2+ years of relevant work experienceããã»customer service or account management experienceããã»experience with programming languagesã»Experience troubleshooting and independently solving technical issues related to softwareã»Passion for mobile Apps or Games.ã»Strong business communication skills. Fluent in both written and spoken English and Japanese.ã»Currently Living in Japan/Legally allowed to work in Japan (Visa renewal support available)Preferred background / characteristics:ã»Computer Science degree or equivalent.ã»Mobile App or Game development Experience.ã»2+ years of customer service experience dealing with important partners related to technical topics.
