Description: 

The Associate Director Upstream Sales at IHS Markit is a strategic sales role with responsibility of revenue growth, team leadership and customer delight for Upstream Energy products/services in the Japanese market. This role will manage a team to retain and grow upstream energy data, software and insight revenue within the territory.



Requirements:

• To achieve annual sales targets.

• To maintain existing client service/relationships.

• To develop new clients/business for revenue growth.

• To collaborate with other sales for cross-sell and business expansion.





• A minimum of 8 years sales experience, with at least 5 years of experience in selling Energy, consulting, or other intangible business solutions.

• Proven track record of building and leading Japan sales teams.

• Understanding of both Western and Japanese culture.

• Excellent Industry Network.

• Travel expectation 10% of the time.
