Sr. systems engineer smart cabin


Position: Senior System Engineer (Smart Cabin) Location Seoul Korea Job Description We are looking for highly motivated cabin and network systems engineers to research and develop new and novel cabin hardware and software systems. Experience developing aviation network architectures, system and software development and wireless protocols is strongly desired, as is experience developing network security certification test plans. Successful candidates must be able to: Provide technical leadership for smart cabin systems System Performance modeling, analysis, and reporting, Develop and document electronic, electrical system and software requirements Develop hardware, software and interface specifications Design prototype hardware and software Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements. Develop and use modeling techniques to evaluate how developed systems will perform in Aviation environments Identify potential issues and proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure accessibility Monitor and test performance of applications, foreseeing potential bottlenecks and identifying possible solutions Work with designers and developers to identify and implement fixes Relocation Assistance Available No. Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit. Qualifications Desired Education & Experience: Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 10 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 5 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. Basic Skills: Experience working with multiple disciplines to resolve issues or reach a collaborative position. English proficiency in an engineering work environment Experience evaluating customer operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical data and assure compatibility of program interfaces. Preferred Skills: Experience in the development, production, and/or maintenance and repair of avionics systems or complex commercial electronics products Experience supporting analyses and studies for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, and product assurance. Prefer knowledge of DO-254, DO-297, DO-178, ARINC 653, and ARINC 664 and other ARINC standards Experience working International projects collaborating in English and Korean
