Ciena Communications Japan Co., Ltd. - Sales Manager for Service Provider

Description: 

Lead the development of Ciena's engagement for assigned Service Provider account(s) within the Japan team by defining the multiyear vision, the strategy, the go to market plan and the financial expectations to drive profitable business growth leading to preferred vendor status for Ciena.



Develop, execute and maintain a major customer engagement plan which includes all stakeholders and levels from Ciena top executives down to working level with clear assignment to relevant Ciena counter parts.Drive the business to a high Product Diversity level across the entire Ciena Product Portfolio as well as the Blue Planet Software Suite.



Responsibilities

• Contribute to the formulation and implementation of the Go to Market plan, Account Plan and manage assigned customer’s priorities.

Create and implement strategic solutions to best position Ciena within the various Customer groups to maximize its revenue streams and margins in accordance with company expectations.

Develop existing customer relationship across the assigned Account(s) to maximise revenue potential.

Drive the numbers and reporting for the assigned segment – revenue, booking, margin etc
